Job Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Account Executive to join one of our Life Sciences teams and help deliver thoughtful, high-quality work for our pharmaceutical clients. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams, take ownership of projects from brief through delivery, and continue developing your account management skills along the way. We’re looking for someone with pharmaceutical agency experience and is ready to bring fresh thinking, initiative, and a hands-on approach to the team.
Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management of pharmaceutical client accounts, building strong relationships and serving as a trusted contact for clients and internal teams.
Develop a clear understanding of the client’s brand, business objectives, therapeutic area, audiences, and competitive landscape.
Take ownership of client and creative briefs, ensuring internal teams have the context and direction needed to deliver against the ask.
Translate client feedback into clear, actionable direction and keep communication flowing across the broader team.
Partner closely with Creative, Medical, Strategy, Project Management, and other disciplines to deliver high-quality work that meets client objectives.
Work alongside Project Management to maintain alignment around priorities, deliverables, and changing client needs, flagging potential risks or scope changes as they arise.
Coordinate materials through the medical, legal, and regulatory review process, ensuring feedback is captured accurately and reflected in subsequent rounds.
Review materials before client submission to ensure they are accurate, complete, and aligned with the brief, approved messaging, and client expectations.
Prepare for and participate in client meetings, presentations, and status calls, documenting key decisions and ensuring appropriate follow-through.
Stay current on relevant brand, competitor, industry, and marketplace developments to bring added value to client and internal conversations.
Begin providing guidance and support to more junior team members while continuing to grow as an account leader.
Qualifications
3+ years of account management experience within a pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences communications agency.
Experience supporting pharmaceutical brands and working within the medical, legal, and regulatory review process.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate client needs, feedback, and next steps.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain consistent follow-through.
A strong understanding of how agency teams work together across Account, Creative, Medical, Strategy, and Project Management.
Comfortable building relationships with clients and contributing confidently in meetings and presentations.
Able to work effectively in a fast-moving environment, adapt as client needs evolve, and take a proactive approach to solving problems.
Curious about the client’s business, with an interest in developing deeper knowledge of the brand, therapeutic area, and healthcare marketplace.
Familiarity with Veeva Vault PromoMats or similar pharmaceutical review platforms is preferred.
A collaborative, hands-on approach and willingness to step in where needed to support the team and the work.
