Group Data & Systems Manager
Own the architecture. Connect the systems. Enable the business.
About the Role
This is a strategic systems ownership role at the heart of Lucid Group’s operational infrastructure.
We are looking for someone who doesn’t just manage systems but truly understands how they connect, scale, and enable smarter decision-making across the organisation. You will take ownership of how our platforms interact, how data flows between them, and ensuring our data is structured, reliable, and decision-ready.
This is not a software engineering role. You won’t be writing code or building APIs from scratch. Instead, you will shape the ecosystem.
You will act as the bridge between business and technology, translating operational needs into scalable systems solutions. From board reporting to workflow optimisation, you will ensure our systems support both day-to-day efficiency and long-term strategy.
Who This Role May Suit
For this role, you may have come from a Business Systems Manager, Systems Analyst, or Operations Systems Lead background within a professional services or agency environment.
You might currently be the person who understands how your organisation’s systems connect, the one mapping integrations, improving workflows, managing your CRM, ERP, PSA or HRIS platform, and ensuring reporting actually reflects reality.
You’re comfortable discussing APIs and integrations, working with vendors but you’re not looking to be a software engineer. Instead, you add value by shaping systems architecture, improving data integrity, and partnering with stakeholders to make systems smarter, simpler, and scalable.
If you naturally think in processes, data flows, and cross-system dependencies and often find yourself asking “Are these systems connected in the smartest way?”, “Is this data structured for scale?”, “Could this integration be simplified?” or “Will this architecture still work as we grow?” then this role is built for you!

Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
Solid understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks
Experience working cross-functionally and translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
Desirable
Specific system experience with HiBob, HubSpot, HowNow, Anaplan, Team Tailor, or CMap
