Lucid Consulting brings depth of expertise in the research, development and commercialisation of solutions across therapeutic areas and modalities by streamlining product development, building operational capabilities, innovating, and supporting execution to create value for patients, clients and shareholders.
US MedComms works with both US and Global brand teams to create powerful medical communications solutions for early lifecycle assets.
US Marketing works with clients across the Rx, Medical Device, OTC and Consumer Device categories to deliver compelling communications and promotional solutions to Healthcare Professionals for in-market assets.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Group Systems and Data Manager is a pivotal role responsible for managing the systems architecture across the organisation. This role ensures seamless collaboration between business systems, oversees data governance processes, and promotes best practices for system integration, data maintenance, and system audits. The individual within this role is responsible for enabling teams to effectively utilise business systems and maintain data accuracy, supporting operational excellence and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
System Management and Ownership
- Maintain expert understanding of all Lucid Group systems to assess change impacts and ensure optimal use.
- Document system integrations, data flows, and dependencies.
- Monitor system enhancements and partner with functional owners on upgrades.
- Recommend improvements for connectivity, efficiency, and cost savings (including APIs).
- Define and implement workflows that reduce manual effort.
- Oversee system and data categorisation updates.
- Manage hand-offs between functional teams and group systems.
- Own CMAP maintenance and liaise with CMAP account management.
- Produce regular reports on system performance and data integrity.
Data Management
- Implement data maintenance processes to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Develop and uphold standards for data integrity, consistency, and security.Drive consistency in data design, maintenance, and reporting.
- Monitor reporting outputs to align with organisational and board needs.
- Build dashboards, reports, and analytics supporting business decision-making.
- Produce board-level reporting with the Group Reporting and Analytics Manager.
- Use the data warehouse to generate reporting and provide back-up support for operational reporting.
System Optimisation and Architecture
- Analyse system architecture and recommend simplification opportunities.
- Improve cross-system collaboration and data sharing.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies or upgrades with stakeholders.
Team Support and Partnership
- Serve as the primary contact for system and data queries.
- Work with departments to ensure systems meet operational needs.
- Develop and deliver training to improve system fluency.
- Support teams through system rollouts, updates, and issue resolution.
Systems Audits and Compliance
- Conduct regular audits on system performance, security, and compliance.
- Resolve vulnerabilities and inefficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations such as GDPR.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience implementing and maintaining business systems and data processes.
- Strong background in system management, databases, and data-driven initiatives.
- Skilled in troubleshooting systems and integrations.
- Experience leading system integrations and upgrades.
- Proficiency with SQL and database tools.
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams and capturing business requirements.
- Ability to create dashboards, analytics, and reports.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data modelling, and data best practices.
- Experienced in data preparation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
- Awareness of automation tools for workflow optimisation.
- Able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Strategic mindset aligned with organisational goals.
- Strong communicator with ability to partner across functions.
- Detail oriented, proactive, collaborative, and adaptable.
Desirable
- Experience with HiBob, HowNow, Anaplan, Teamtailor.
- Ability to use data insights to influence strategic decisions.
- Experience delivering training or user support.
- Knowledge of process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) or project management.
- Understanding of A/B testing or experimentation.
- Interest in developing leadership skills.
