Job Summary
DiD is growing! We're looking for a Associate Creative Director (Copy) with at least 7-8 years of pharma/wellness agency experience to join our team. In this role, you'll partner with writers, designers and other team members for concept development and execution as well as take part in presenting creative pieces to clients.
Responsibilities
- Excellent conceptual, writing, and research skills
- Consistently produces and develops creative work that reflects superior standards
- Master of AMA Style: prepares and annotates references and is able to translate data into clear and concise copy
- Ability to intuit brand strategy, apply to long- and short-form copy and adapt as needed
- Strong sense of voice and writing style that stretches across campaigns and brands
- Is able to think visually and considers design aspects while crafting content
- Strong presentation skills
- Comfortable mentoring and guiding junior level team members in the copywriting space
- Attends internal and external meetings as a copy influencer
- Excites the client with smart and innovative ideas/solutions
- Clearly articulates client objectives and introduces actionable creative strategy
Qualifications
- 7-10 years minimum experience working in an agency in a creative copy position
- Experience within pharmaceutical and/or healthcare environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated creative copy skills
- Proven ability to understand and develop creative “storytelling” copy for the targeted audience
- Exceptional portfolio, containing original concepts that are fully executed
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment as well as independently
- Demonstrated initiative as a self-starter
